We facilitate the planning process, resulting in a document that will assist the board and staff in defining the organization's future. TIL will specifically design the planning process to meet your organization's needs.

The outcomes of the planning process:

  • Clarify the environment in which the organization functions
  • Identify opportunities for positioning of the organization to be fiscally-sound
  • Strengthen board cohesion by developing a shared sense of direction
  • Provide a sense of stability for the organization's stakeholders
  • Define methods for measuring the efficacy of the organization in relation to its stated mission, vision, and values through strategic goals and objectives

TIL structures the planning process in four phases:

  1. Fact-Finding or "Taking The Temperature of the Organization"
  2. Strategic Planning
  3. Operational Planning
  4. Continuous Planning
